Uros Floating Islands - A unique aspect of Peruvian culture, the Uros Floating Islands are quite literally floating islands that are anchored down and hand made by layers of totora reeds that grow in Lake Titicaca.

Everything is made out of reeds - the boats, the homes and of course, the islands themselves. Such a strange sensation to walk on the islands, almost like a water bed.
