Paris, a beautiful city, February 2005.

February 2005 I flew from Brazil where the temperature was 33 degrees to Paris where the temperature was 3 degrees. That was quite a shock to my system. But Paris is wonderful no matter what the temperature and my friends and I kept warm by drinking lots of red wine from Bordeaux.

Re: traveling to Paris. First off, I envy your ability to visit Paris. My comment is simply that your statues (golden ones that exist on a bridge/sur le pont) would have more just done to them is there were less sky. This would hold true for the Statue of Liberty, etc.

Thanks, David, for your good photos! DON"T go to Paris in winter!, Way too cold, and DON'T WEAR JEANS, they are hot in summer and cold in winter! I loved the golden horse, esp! It's true, there are quite a lot of small hotels in Paris, not too expensive, you need to "find them".
