My parents & myself were Hird Prospectors who prospected in Northern Saskatchewan from 1958 until 1983. This reminds me of my childhood. Fabulous photos to reminisce with. Thanks.

<grin> Everyone loves a sunset!! Great pics. I have to say, I love the Beaver Pond pic best however. So serene. In my job I tend to look at Beaver dams as great assets as they allow me to cross the creeks relatively easy, and avoid huge swamps. I rarely see the beauty in them however. Great job, you've changed my mind!

Smith Point on Fishing Lake is named after my Grandfather who built one of the first cabins there. My father spent 35 years with Sask Provincial Parks and these pictures remind me of where how I lived growing up.ThankYou.

Beautiful pictures again, but there is so much more northern Saskatchewan than just Lower Fishing Lakes. I lived 50 miles from the territories border and the scenery there is just breath taking. You need to take your camera there.

Droool! If I could only spell or pronounce Saskat...whatevers properly, I would move there in the blink of an eyelash. People always told me that Canadian sunsets are unbeatable. Your photos certainly goes a long way to bear out their claims!
