People come to O'Reilly's Rainforest Guesthouse to unwind. They come to get away from phones and TVs (there is neither in the rooms), and to experience nature. There was no air-conditioner in our room, just a fan - but with temperatures 5C cooler than at sea level, things were extremely comfortable even in high summer.
