I went to New York some 7 weeks after the terrorist attacks on the World Trade Centre. One could tell the city had taken a huge hit; the city was quiet, eerily quiet. I certainly had a different feeling being here than I had on my previous 5 visits. 7 weeks on there was still a horrible smell in the area around the site of the World Trade Centre and signs of the chaos that descended upon the area that sad day. November 2001
