On a 2005 Antarctica expedition, we visited several places along, on or near the Antarctic Peninsula. We made our first landing on Antarctica along the west side of the peninsula at Neko Harbour. It was a beautiful spot, and a great day with sunny skies and temperatures in the 50s. Penguin watching and a hike filled our time on the peninsula.
