On a 2005 Antarctica expedition, we visited several places along, on or near the Antarctic Peninsula. Port Lockroy, just off Wiencke Island, is home to a British research station that includes a museum, gift shop, post office and a large colony of gentoo penguins. The surrounding scenery includes the Seven Sisters mountain peaks.
