On a 2005 Antarctica trip, I also spent some time in Buenos Aires, Argentina. There's a lot more to a city than its buildings, fountains and sightseeing stops, but it is a lot harder to capture the sense of a city with pictures.
As I explore a city, I get pictures of ads and graffiti, busy streets and empty alleys, street art and store windows, the everyday culture of the place. Those that remind me of home, and those that seem to contrast the attitudes of the place I am visiting with those where I live.
