We are Hella and Ab van Peer. Some years ago we traded our very well organized life in the Netherlands in for a more adventurous one in Malaysia. Take a minute and find out why we like it so much on the East Coast. Find out how you can join us. And for the Dutch readers of this web site : als je dit jaar niet naar Malaysia geweest bent, kom dan volgend jaar eens langs Travel All major airline companies offer frequent flights to Kuala Lumpur and Singapore. KLM and MAS are flying non-stop. During the holiday season they will be pretty full, so make reservations in time. Check the new connection from Turkish Airlines: Amsterdam-Istanbul-Kuala Lumpur. Malaysian Airlines has a frequent service to many local cities, including Terengganu on the East Coast. Local flights are very cheap. Even cheaper are the excellent bus services throughout the country. Kuala Lumpur-Terengganu RM 25, takes you eight hours, either by day or by night bus. Rent a car is priced reasonably and offers you a very pleasant way to travel the country. When you arrive via Singapore, rent your car in Malaysia. (Johor Bahru). Bikes can be rented or imported as part of your luggage. The Dutch Travel Organizations Vlieg en Fiets and ASIAN WAY OF LIFE organize your transport and they supply specific route information. Health No specific vaccinations are required to visit Malaysia. Except for the border region with Thailand, malaria does not occur on the Peninsular. For extended jungle trips on Sarawak and Sabah, malaria prophylaxis is recommended. Anti hepatitis injections should be taken during extended traveling. Helps against leeches as well. Always take a good mosquito repellant with you. All medical care is available locally. The healthcare is excellent in Malaysia. More Want to no more?
