Kathy Flesch was the 2005 Carnival Queen. Every year a happy, dancer, beautiful & tireless queen is chosen. She has the right (& the obligation) to start Carnivals at "La Lectura del Bando" and be at every carnival event, including visits to schools. Also a King is elected, and he is called "El rey Momo" (King Momo).
