The Mission District - in the neighborhood of Mission and 18th, south of Market Street - is home to a number of vibrant murals painted on building sides, garage doors and other places. Specific locations can be found on the web, but you can walk down almost any street or alley and find some of these. Ranging from simple to edgy, colorful to black and white, humorous to political, it's well worth exploring the Mission District to see these excellent works of art.
