Crooked Tree at dawn<br> Belize picture - Dawn, we were told, was aparently the best time of day to see the abundant birdlife but was the worst time of the day not to be still in bed. We used the engines to start of with to get reasonably close to the birds. From then on we punted to avoid disturbing the fauna. Highlights included roseatte spoonbills, snail kites, ospreys and the huge jabiru stork (pron. jah-bah-roo stack). Chris
