During a 2002 exploration of northwestern Canada, I drove a section of the Alaska Highway from its southern terminus at Dawson Creek, British Columbia, north to Whitehorse, Yukon Territory. It was mostly overcast, with rain - and even a summertime snowfall in the mountains - much of the trip, but there still were a number of pretty scenes along the way.
