Born in Calgary
Hi there! I just came across your wonderful photos of Calgary and environs, and had to drop you a note. I was born in Calgary in 1935 and lived there until April of 1949. I then moved with my parents to Los Angeles, CA. Big culture shock! LOL! Do you know of any pics of Calgary from those 14 years? I went to the UDS school up on the "north hill" thru grade 8. My aunt & uncle lived on a farm outside Strathmore where I spent a lot of holidays. I miss Calgary so! Thank you, Diane

Rafal, it is always a pleasure for me to view your images and read your delightful commentaries. 18C is spring for you and winter for us Floridians. :) You wear shorts and we would be pulling out our sweaters! Very interesting about your bike and pedestrian paths. In the last ten years, old railway lines have been converted to bike and walking paths here in the Orlando area. Sunny regards, Barb :)
