Seward Highway.<br> Alaska picture - This is a view while driving of the Seward Highway. Although they plow this road, what you see is mostly blacktop covered by a thin sheet of ice. Forty-five mph is the top speed in a rental car, unless you get one with studs. Lots of people were passing me and I couldn't figure out why, until I realize they had studs on their tires.
