In the Royal Sovereign class the 6" secondary battery is set much further aft than in the Queen Elizabeth class, to keep the wet stuff from interfering with their use. Not sure what was happening at Spithead in 1936...all these ships were present at the Reviews in 1935 and 1937, but Barham (and Valiant and QE) were in the Med in 1936, I think for the duration...)
