The Maroondah Reservoir Park is some 60 km east of Melbourne, just out of the town of Healesville, adjacent to the dam.

There are excellent walking tracks radiating from Henderson's Picnic Reserve, at the base of the dam.

These pictures were taken on 27 April 2005, whilst on a walking trip along Henderson's Track, which runs some 3 km through to Donnelley's Weir.

The pix include some of the Reserve and some of the fowls which live there!

You are urged to click on "full view" on the images, to see the detail, which is not readily apparent on the default "small size" display.

Some of the vegetation appears a pinkish tinge - this is due to the luminosity of the camera flash!

Enjoy!
