Nice snapshots
Its a fun hobby that takes a lot of work to become truley skilled. Keep reading on the subject, Keep trying new techniques, and your skills will develope. Remember, You can take a 1000 shots and hope turns out really well.

I am not a photographer either and can not really comment on photo techniques. I am an artist though and can say you needs lots of work on your art. First, a great pieece of art (photo, etc) has to have good quality, a display of mastery of the tools of your art. Next it must have a good composition. I saw nothing of interest in your compositions. Your words indicate that you have some big themes or majesty you feel, but none of that is conveyed by the compositions. Lastly, you should strive for something new and unique. This collection was just routine stuff, except with sub-standard quality.

I do not mean to degrade your efforts, but you did ask for comments. You seems to have something you want to express. That is something most do not have so build on that. I would encourage you to push your emotions and art as far as possible. This collection is a timid step, but that is how we all start.

So here we go. in my opinion you need a lot of work on composition. choose what is the main subject is of your photo and move in closer to it.. also your lighting needs work. most of your photos looked underexposed.
