The Blue Lagoon is a unique geothermal spa where you enjoy relaxing in warm geothermal seawater. The lagoon is surrounded by a magical lava field and black sandy beaches. The geothermal seawater is led didrectly to the Blue Lagoon from wells as deep as 2000 meters/6000feet and the water stays warm and inviting at 36 - 39 C/ 100-110 F throughout the whole year. The Blue Lagoon´s warm water and natural active ingredients; mineral salts, silica and blue green algae help you relax and escape the stress and strain of daily life. It was really wonderful experience, and I can highly recommend Blue Lagoon.
