The following are photos taken in March, 2005 during a family vacation in Morocco. The vacation started in Ourzazate and proceeded to Merzouga where we camped in the Sahara Desert in Berber style tents while being hospitably fed and entertained at the Nomad Palace. Subsequently we journeyed across the High Atlas Mountains to visit the mystifying city of Marrakech. A serendipitous find at the airport was a book entitled "Glory Through A Camel's Eye" by an American named Tayler (first name escapes me). The book chronicles ... (more)
