Mount Connor
Northern Territory picture - At this point, we were mere moments away from arriving at Uluru, which I was excited-to-the-point-of-pants-wetting about seeing. So when I saw this, I took one last swig of water and prepared myself appropriately. However, it was just a big fakeout. It is in fact Mount Connor, which is a 700 million years old sand and rock table mountain. It is enormous, and still lies entirely on the property of an even more enormous cattle station, Curtin Springs.
