The miraculous statue of Our Lady of Consolation in the Shrine. The original miracle suspended the natural laws of science for over three hours with over a thousand witnesses in the late 1800s. Since pilgrims have flocked to the shrine to beg for Our Lady's intercession. In the lower basilica, there are hundreds of casts, canes, crutches, wheelchairs, baby photos, beer cans, cigarette packs...all from pilgrims who have come to the shrine and been healed! Praised be Jesus! Ave Maria!
