Sierra Nevada
one day in the Sierra Nevada on the 23rd of april, 1 1/2 hour drive from malaga. it was really worth the trip: 20cm of new snow the day before and only sunshine in the mountains (and clouds in the valley). fortunately i had my sun-oil with me, else i would have burned my skin. many of the photos are too light, the sun and the reflection of the snow were not that good for my digi-cam. prices for the lifts were 15 but they climb up to 31 in high season. there are a lot of stores where you can rent the equipment. the area has about 70km of ski-runs, generally easy, but there are quite a lot of possibilities to go off the piste for a short run. the majority of the people stays on the easiest pistes, so there should be no crowds on the upper and more difficult ones.
