After a long drive starting from Mahabalipuram at 4 o'clock in the morning with all luggage packed on the motorbike, passing Chengleput on to the highway to Trichy, having several pit-stops to eat and drink, my whole body covered wearing woollen gloves to avoid sun-burn .... finally we arrive in one day at Madurai after a 600 km drive.
