In the middle of the street this lady milks the cow. The calf is standing beside after drinking first and the son will drink the milk after. The black rope around his middle serves to protect him from evil and mother is wearing a yellow robe around her neck to indicate that she is married. The boys in the background are wearing no sandals at all as most children do here in Sellur.
