Hovenweep National Monument consists of a handful of sites in southeastern Utah and southwestern Colorado that protect a number of Ancestral Puebloan ruins. During my 2004 Utah/desert southwest trip, I visited the Cajon Group for the first time and made a return visit to the Square Tower Group, both in Utah.
