Visakhapatnam is a booming City with large scale industries . It has a fine protected harbour and Shipbuilding yard. It has other large scale industries like Zink smelting, Steel plant, Fertilisers plant e.t.c It has one of the finest Universities with its own Medical School and many other Degree course Colleges. The sight seeing is good and is a Test playing arena. Near by is Aruku Valley. Please ref. to my Article 'ARUKU' which is worth a visit. Sea can be rough and donot venture unless some one near by to help. Hot and sweatty in summermonths and moonsoon is no different. 5/4/3 Star hotel accommodation is plentiful. Regular Trains to all over India and Air port is just out of the city.

Good See(a) city

My Lovely Homeplace
Though it's been 2 yrs i'm away from Vizag, the city is still very close to my heart and I always feel like going back to it forever.I miss all happy moments spent at the shores of R.K.beach, sunrise sight at Tenneti park, fresh breezes & breath-taking view of the city from Kailasagiri. The city has given to me all that i wanted.For me "Vizag is the best place on earth.FOREVER.". I LOVE IT.

Rejuvinating
Visakapatnam also called land of destiny was one such place where I spent two years. The Rushikonda beach is simply a beauty. The way to Kailashgiri and GITAM campus is breathtaking. The famous B-School GITAM Institute of Foreign Trade near the Rushikonda beach is the place to study International Business in India.

Beautiful
I was in Visakhapatnam for 2 years (2004-2006). I love that city, its beautifull, clean, good people, nice places to see, calm beaches, rapid infrastructural developments are taking place. Its becomming the next IT hub of AP, Tourism was always in the top there and also the Production (Industry). I am an alumni of GITAM Institute of Foreign Trade, Visakhapatnam and always want to be there again and again. If somebody planning to visit Visakhapatnam, I must tell you, you should see Kailaskgiri, GITAM Campus and Punnami Beach Resort. You will love it. I love Visakha.
