I recently went back to Germany to visit my hometown Kulmbach. Every time I visit, I become more aware of its beauty, something that was lost on me when I grew up there. It is a smaller town in Upper Franconia/Bavaria with a lively downtown and great hiking paths in the surrounding hills. The view of the Plassenburg towering high above the town greeted me every morning while I stayed at my sister's place.
