Arriving in the town of Gelibolu at the top of the peninsula, I found more local Turkish life with this man going about his business in traditional fashion, between the cars and consumer items of the 21st century... After taking his photo he asked "Bir, Bir!" One New Lira for the privilege of taking his photo. I was very happy to give him one Lira. Over the next few days I would see similar sights of cart and animal along the highways - Turkish farmers using age old methods of travel.
