Penguins are very fine hunters. They swim gracefully as they search for food or avoid their natural predators. But they're not so graceful on land, where they must come to lay their eggs and raise their young.

There are some wonderful spots in South America to see these comical animals. We got very close to a bunch of them in Chile back in 1999 as we were taking a cruise around the bottom half of South America.
