The red dots show our stops as we sailed counter-clockwise around South America from Santiago, Chili on the west coast around Cape Horn and up to the Falkland Islands and Buenos Aires. That was the first two weeks. We continued up the east coast to Rio and eventually to the Amazon , then 1,000 miles up that river to Manaus in Brazil. It was a great four week cruise with many interesting stops. But the most humorous had to be in Punta Arenas when we visited the penguins. Punta Arenas is the second dot on the left from the bottom of the South American continent.
