Preening themselves as they wait for their mates to return with some fish for lunch. The waters look quite calm here, but the seas became so rough that our ship couldn't land at the next penguin spot. Several days later, our ship was scheduled to stop where there would be more than 500,000 penguins ! Unfortunately that sea would get too rough for us to land and so disappointed a great many passengers who didn't bother to visit here, but elected to see the larger colony instead. There's a moral here. Carpe diem. Seize the day. Strike while the iron is hot. Don't put it off. Go for it. We're glad we did.
