From January to May of 1985, I had the opportunity to study Spanish language and culture at the Universidad de Salamanca in Spain. As a junior at Penn State majoring in Spanish, the program was ideal for me. I lived with a wonderful Spanish family (none of whom spoke any English I might add!) who made me feel right at home with them.
