<noembed><nolayer><div style="position:absolute; left:0; top:-100; display:none;"> Alamedilla Park<br> Sightseeing in Spain picture - Alamedilla Park comprises over 25,000 square meters. The railroad marked its history, since it is situated near the train lines. Its history goes back to 1882, the year when the the railroad to Portugal was built. Those in charge of the work decided not to carry out its execution as they did have not all necessary materials at hand in Salamanca. In an attempt to present to the population the importance of the work, they improvised an exhibition, which attracted a lot of people from the outskirts. Later, the city council acquired a low cost parcel of land to turn into a park. Among its facilities is an artificial lake located at the park&#39;s heart. It is bordered by willows and has a cage for birds. Perhaps one of the most singular characteristics of this park is a small zoo located in its center. There is also an entertainment zone for children and a library. The variety of vegetation found in it turns the park into an exhibition of trees and plants. </div></nolayer></noembed>
