Our trip began from at Mt. Bromo after touching down at Surabaya. We settled at Cemara Lawang and got up very early in the morning to witness the magnificent sunrise at G. Penanjakan everyday !

The Bromo-Tengger National park is quite a nice place to stay for a short holiday. As photographer, we dedicated most of our time to find interesting subject and scenery around that area and left little time for leisure.

Time was not allowing us to explore more of the region. We carried on our steps to further east in Java to see how the sulfur porter carrying sulfur at the smooky Kawah Ijen to earn their living. Imagine carrying 75-85 KG per trip in the hilly track 4 times a day to earn only abt 10 USD. Life is tough over there !

We all should treassure what we have now. Enjoy the photos. Cheers.
