On October 20, 2002, we had a single day layover in Rome to wait for our Air One flight to Catania in Sicily. These photos are from one 10 hour walk that began and ended at Vatican City.
We took the train from the airport to Stazione San Pietro, near the Vatican. We had to change trains at Trestevere.
The convent was about a 100 yard walk from the train station. It was very convenient to take the train back to the airport the next morning.
