Me enjoying lunch in a park in Zamora
Sightseeing in Spain picture - We stopped to have lunch in a little spot of greenery behind the Iglesia de San Cipriano. From the inscription on the doorway, it may be deduced that the church was rebuilt in 1157. The main arch, the barrel vault, the arch of the chapel of the Epístola, the south portal and the tower with its catwalk correspond to this period. The church was reconstructed in the 13th, beginning of the 14th, and the 18th centuries. The gable end and the North Wall were reformed in the 18th Century. San Cipriano has only one nave with a flat, vertical East End and a few added chapels.
