Cragside House was the home of Sir. Thomas Armstrong an eminent industrialist in the 1900's The site is now owned by the National Trust and you can visit their site on the internet www.nationaltrust .co.uk At this time of the year the estate is festooned with Rhododendrums and the effect is shown in the photos. There are over 40 miles of paths and trails around the estate and you can even take the car around a 6 mile drive tour.
