These photographs were taken before the disastrous ''civil'' war in Bosnia and Hercegovina. it was a GENOCIDE not a civil war.. Read the news and update this link 8000 mens bosniaks(kids included) were killed by serbians of bosnia and from serbia. International Court prooved it.. Death to fashism, long live fo bosnia

A wonderful collection of times gone by - I too remember this area before the war - I notice you have a photo of the Neretva canyon - did you see the 'Bridge Across the Neretva' monument? Somewhere I have a photo in my archives - very impressive! Thanks for sharing!

These are wonderful pictures from what seems now so long ago - thank you so much for posting them. Your pictures from Mostar made the hairs on the back of my neck stand on end - and certainly do provide a stark contrast with what I saw on my recent vist.
