If the village of Assos on the hills above was a surprise, then the harbour below was a gem. The buildings on the foreshore are now quaint and modern places to eat and stay for a relaxing day or three. A few of us who found this place had the most relaxing and enjoyable lunch you can imagine; great local food and wine, about as perfect as eating can be!
