<noembed><nolayer><div style="position:absolute; left:0; top:-100; display:none;"> Charles V&#39;s Wall<br> The Pyrenees picture - Our hotel was located in the shadow of the Medieval city gate (if it had not been so located, I would probably still be wandering around Perpignan, hopelessly lost), barely two hundred yards from the Cathedral and perhaps fifty from the Pla&#231;a de la Llotja de Mar the site of the medieval town hall and the place where traitors and heretics were publicly executed. SOME of the group visited the medieval Palace of the Kings of Mallorca. Perpignan was once the capital of an independent country, and the monarchs resided in the now-restored palace. It is supposed to be quite wonderful, though I wouldn&#39;t know because Melinda, Natalie and I spent the morning being lost in the rain and cold, trying to find our group, and being lied to about their whereabouts by some cruel museum guides. Natalie contracted a severe cold. </div></nolayer></noembed>
