Finally Fort Desoto Campground is pet friendly at least in Area 2. They still have a major problem with raccoons and ANTS but at least they now allow pets. One word of caution. Although, there are signs everywhere about having your pet on a leash, owners of BIG dogs seem to think that it does not include their pet. I walked Ricky & Lucy and had to make a quick change in direction to avoid a loose Great Dane, only to walk smack into a Rottweiler who immediately came running for us.
