The waterborne mother and child drifted towards me out of a background of boats and fluttering flags. I was on a moving boat myself, so I couldn't wait until these people got closer to me. A telephoto lens attachment was critical. It reached out to make this little rowboat large enough to dominate the scene. I also cropped slightly to make the rowboat and it's occupants even larger.
