A one-day trip to Albania was not enough time to see much. In fact, we only visited the archeological site Butrint and had some freetime left to walk around in Saranda, a small city at the coastal line. Albania seems to be one of Europe's poorest countries and infrastructure is on a very basic level. However, many private investors started building houses with the money they made abroad.
