Arashiyama, the western area of Kyoto has its quiet charm.I have a taste of a peace walk in the Bamboo Forest on my way to Nonomiya Shrine. There are many activities along the Katsura River, you can see people having picnic ,playing games and sailing along the river. Cheers!!!
