I fell in love with Los Angeles the first time I saw this city in the summer of '87 and since then I have learned a lot about this great world class city. Los Angeles is a very big and beautiful city. On visits I usually stay at the Hyatt Regency, Hilton Los Angeles, or Westin Bonaventure in the Financial District which are conveniently located near subway stations. Contrary to beliefs about needing a car to get around in Los Angeles, I actually never needed a car. I take advantage of the city's subway system to get to places like Los Angeles Union Passenger Terminal Station, the Jewelry District, Hollywood, the Chinese theatre, Universal City and the Financial District. These photos represent my visits to Los Angeles which I will update from time to time. I use a variety of different film cameras I own (Nikon, Cannon, Kodak) and the different film sizes for these cameras such as the large negative format 616 which is hard to find now as is the 626 and 627 film negatives, and standard 35mm. One of the cameras I use is an old vintage Kaplan Panorama-X 235 with a 3 stage fixed zoom lens for those wide scenic shots. As of now I don't own a digital camera and I'm not really all that interested in digital photography.
