This was my first visit back to Rome after living there last year. It just happened to fall on the weekend of the Pope's funeral, so I took the opportunity to attend. It was a very moving experience, so many people from so many nations there to show their respects. For a sad occasion, it was quite inspiring. I also got the chance to catch up with a few (now) old friends, which was nice. Unfortunately it rained for about 90% of the time I was there.
