Well, tomorrow is the big day. I'll depart this hilltop home to head for the bottomlands of the Main River. I estimate that I have about 40 or 50 pounds not counting my grandson on the back of my trike.

I think I'll be able to average about 8 miles per hour and it is 53 miles to Schweinfurt. I should be there with several hours of daylight left to put up my tent.
