Fungi in Adelaide ( for Steve Axford )

I was walking on a lawn in a park and saw this and thought of Steve Axford. He has some wonderful pics of Fungi in all the colours of the rainbow. So Steve sorry this is the best I have seen in the dry state of South Australia, you might know what it is called.

And a very nice fungus it is too. What it lacks in colour, it makes up in silver lustre. I'm sorry I can't identify it, but it usually takes a bit of research and it does help having seen it in real life. I'm off to Lima tomorrow, but it's the dry season there, so I don't expect any fungi. I'll just have to bore you with some spectacular scenery when I get back. Maybe you can fill the fungi hole while I'm away? (that didn't come out sounding quite right, but you know what I mean)

LOL at Gung Gung
I doubt it he has some great pics of them, mind you we are going to Victoria for a wedding in February and will be only 40 kms from where he got some great Fungi pics. Is it true that he is in Peru if so I envy him, I would love to see the history of the natives and their ruins.

Bravissimo, Tim! You may eventually topple Steve from his perch as King of Fungi. (He may, however, now be somewhere in Peru looking for more fungi to plague us with....)
