Kananaskis Country, East Slopes

Kananaskis Country or a.k.a. K-Country, located less than 100 kilometers west of Calgary is considered by the majority of Calgarians as "Calgary's Four Seasons Playground".

My favorite area in the Kananaskis Country is near Highwood Pass (2220 meters) located 60 km south of Trans Canada Highway No. 1.

Spectacular vistas, unlimited hiking trails are paradise to everyone who enjoys hiking and exploring the backcountry.

Here are my pictures taken recently (July 2003) during different times of the day.

A goat!! The alto stratus shot is really lovely. you caught some really great color with all of these! We get shiloh clouds here - really nice. I look forward to more. thanks for sharing.
